We’re a STAYCATION retreat! Anyone wanting to reserve a Quarrybbean vacation needs to reserve a minimum of 30 nights. We no longer offer short term rentals.
Got a big boat? We have deep-sea moorage and a long dock with
room for guest tie-ups.
Our new rates reflect longer stays (no longer short term rentals), but better per night pricing. Bookings allow for a maximum of eight adults or parents with teenage kids. There can be exceptions made. Families, couples and mature groups are encouraged.
There can always be exceptions, so inquire. If you don’t ask, you won’t get.
2025 Season Rates and Booking Policy
LOW SEASON
SPRING: Wednesday, April 17–Friday, May 17
FALL: Tuesday, September 2–Tuesday, October 15
(includes Canadian Thanksgiving weekend).
RATES
Canadian Currency:
30-night booking (minimum) = $21,000 CAD
This equals $700 CAD per night
or $87.50 CAD per person per night
based on an 8-person occupancy.
American Currency:
30-night booking (minimum) = $18,200 USD
This equals $605 USD per night
or $75 USD per person per night
based on an 8-person occupancy.
HIGH SEASON
Saturday, May 18–Monday, September 2
(includes Queen Victoria Weekend & Labour Day Weekend).
RATES
Canadian Currency:
30-night bookings (minimum) = $24,500 CAD
This equals $816 CAD per night
or $102 CAD per person per night
based on an 8-person occupancy.
American Currency:
30-night bookings (minimum) = $18,200 USD
This equals $605 USD per night
or $75 USD per person per night
based on an 8-person occupancy.
NOTES

If a booking traverses from a Low to High Season rate or visa-versa, the booking will be pro-rated to reflect the rate blends of both seasons. (See the cost per night fee above).

You may book as many nights as you want and for any period in our dates offered, (subject to availability), but it must be a minimum of 30 nights.
ADDITIONAL COSTS

One Time Pet Fees: $200 CAD per pet, per stay.

Cleaning Fees: $400 CAD per stay

There will be a fuel surcharge for propane usage. (Can range anywhere from $300 CAD to $1,000 CAD per stay. $300 CAD minimum charge).

All guests will be required to sign a Liability Waiver Release Form as a condition of their stay.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES
Check-in/out times are flexible.
CHECK IN
Arrival at the Quarrybbean, no sooner than noon. Rooms are available by 3 pm or earlier.
CHECK OUT
Departures no later than 1 pm and rooms vacated by 10 am. If no one is arriving on your departure day, you can stay a little longer.
How to Get Here
By Car: From downtown Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay should take you roughly 30 minutes depending on traffic and bridge conditions. The ferry ride is 45 minutes, plus loading and off-loading times. And the drive from Langdale, along the Sunshine Coast Highway to Madeira Park, should take approximately 65 minutes. Check the ferry schedule for departure times. By Float Plane: If flying out of YVR’s South Terminal river location on a ‘charter’, it should only take about 45 plus minutes to our dock. You can also charter directly from Victoria harbour and Naniamo, or where ever you want your group picked up.
There are scheduled flights from YVR South Terminal and downtown Vancouver, that’ll take you to Sechelt. Some will take you to Madeira Park, in Pender Harbour.
By Boat: Check your marine charts. Email Alistair so he can best advise you if you wish to bring a boat from Vancouver, Vancouver Island or Gulf Islands, or anywhere else.
Water Taxi or Private Boat Charters: Unless you have your own boat, or come via floatplane, you will need to arrange water transportation from Madeira Park (or elsewhere), to get out to Quarry Bay, Nelson Island. We can suggest some boat charters. 2022 rates were approx. $225 each way.
